Section 14 · Security and wallet hygiene

Security and wallet hygiene — step 4 of 4

Step 4 of 4

Three-wallet setup: cold storage that never touches a DEX, a main hot wallet, and a burner meme wallet holding only the current bankroll.

1

Never sign what you cannot read

Wallet drainers work by getting you to approve a transaction. Phantom, Rabby and MetaMask show transaction simulations — read them.

2

Revoke approvals regularly

On EVM chains use revoke.cash; check Solana token delegates too.

3

Seed phrase on paper or steel

Never in a photo, cloud note, or password manager synced to a phone with random apps installed.

4

Assume every DM is an attack

Telegram and Discord DMs are where wallet drainers live. Bookmark real sites — phishing clones rank in ads.
